Ron Tite

Founder, CHURCH+STATE Marketing Agency

An entrepreneur, speaker, and best-selling author, Ron Tite has always blurred the lines between art and commerce. He has been an award-winning advertising writer and Creative Director for some of the world’s most respected brands including DoorDash, Fidelity, Google, Intel, Microsoft, Walmart, Volvo, and many others.

Ron Tite is the founder and chief strategy and creative officer of agency Church+State, host and executive producer of the hit podcast, The Coup, and executive producer of the Canadian Screen Award nominated documentary film, Fresh Water (Crave, 2021).

He has written for television, has been a frequent guest on CTV, CBC, and Global news programs, and was a judge on the CTV business reality show, Dream Funded. He wrote and performed a hit play. Created a branded art gallery. Published an award winning comedy book for the CBC. And for 5 years was the host and executive producer of the Canadian Comedy Award nominated show, Monkey Toast.

Ron Tite was the founding Chief Content Curator and Chair of the Advisory Board for Dx3 Canada and has been a contributor to Macleans Magazine, Strategy Magazine, and The Message Canada. Ron’s condor and humour make him a popular and frequent guest on business podcasts everywhere.

In demand as a speaker all over the world, Ron speaks to leading organizations all over the world about creativity, disruption, leadership, and growth.

Ron’s first book was, Everyone’s An Artist - Or At Least They Should Be (Co-written by Scott Kavanagh and Christopher Novais), was published by HarperCollins in 2016. His most recent book, Think Do Say: How to Seize Attention and Build Trust in a Busy Busy World, hit store shelves in October of 2019. His 3rd book, The Purpose of Purpose, will be released in the fall of 2024.

Ron sits on the advisory boards for the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival and the Institute for Health & Human Potential and is a faculty member at Heroic Public Speaking in Lambertville, New Jersey.

In her career, she has led both product development and professional services teams delivering innovation, customer insights, business analytics, acquisition and retention solutions for a broad range of industries including retail, energy, financial services, telecommunications, and automotive. In 2016 she opened Capgemini's Applied Innovation Discover Center in downtown Toronto. In her role as Center Director and Innovation Leader she introduced integrated solutions sourced from Capgemini's global innovation network; fostered collaboration with start-ups and corporate clients; and spearheaded thought leadership programs and events.

Dr. David Rice is Professor of Marketing and Executive Director of the Future of Marketing Institute at the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Canada.

Dr. David Rice teaches primarily in the areas of marketing technology and the future of marketing. He has published over 60 papers in scholarly journals and has presented his research at academic and business conferences in over 20 countries. He has served as a marketing consultant to many Fortune 500 companies, including Microsoft, Intel, General Mills, Ford Motor Company, and The World Bank Intelligent Marketing - Global Offering Lead | CX & EX, Intelligent Work.

Associate Director, Future Of Marketing Institute

Martin Waxman, MCM, APR, writes a popular Digital Marketing Trends newsletter, conducts AI research and leads digital and AI training workshops. He’s a LinkedIn Learning instructor, adjunct professor at the York Schulich School of Business and associate director of the Future of Marketing Institute.

Martin also co-founded two agencies, is president of a consultancy and a member of the Institute for Public Relations Digital Media Research Center. He regularly speaks at events across North America. Martin received the Institute for Public Relations Best Master’s Thesis Award in 2019 and the Canadian Public Relations Society’s Outstanding Achievement in PR Award in 2020. He has a Master of Communications Management from McMaster-Syracuse Universities.

Prior to his current social impact career chapter, Hugh was the Head Of Business Development at one of Canada’s largest network of industry-leading mental health and addiction treatment centres. As part of the Senior Leadership team, he co-led national teams and strategies for business development and double-digit organizational growth. He also provided oversight, guidance, support and mentorship to EHN Canada's business development, military, veterans, first responder and alumni relations teams.

Hugh has 20+ years of working for large global organizations with footprints in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia. He has led strategic teams for global new business prospecting, competitive intelligence, future-trends identification, and business enhancement initiatives. He has also been a member of Senior Leadership teams that oversee organizational strategic plans, and growth objectives.

Outside of work, Hugh is very passionate about community investment, volunteerism, mentorship, supporting student-athletics and social justice. He is a Devoted “Dance Dad”, lives on the outskirts of Toronto with wife Nadine, talented daughters Renée and Nia, along with Miles, a precocious Bichon Poodle.
